Our good friends, Sanne & Pieter, suggested Upside Down Museum in Pasay for a Sunday activity a couple of weeks ago. The photos of the museum on the web looked interesting and fun, so we decided to give it a try! I’m so glad we did since we had a great time! Thank you, Sanne, for the suggestion!! Our oldest, who just started high school this year, had a test on the following Monday. Thus, she stayed home and studied. Having experienced the museum myself, I would say that teenagers will have a lot of fun if they go to the Upside Down Museum with their friends.
The admission for the Upside Down Museum was 450 Pesos (about $9 dollars) per person and the price is the same for children. You will probably spend about an hour inside to go through all of the sets in the museum if it’s not too crowded. One website suggested that you get there in the morning especially on a weekend to avoid the crowd. Having read the advice on the web, we met at the museum shortly after 11:00 a.m. on a rainy Sunday and it was perfect. It was a bit of an expensive activity for the amount of time you will spend in the museum. However, we all had a fabulous time!
Creating Unusual Photography
Here are the photos that I took at the Upside Down Museum. It was really fun to come up with our own stories of each scene to create stories. Where you stand, the angle, the expressions of your subjects, and background come in to play when making funky shots. Use your imagination and play with the illusion! Your kids will love it!!
