The Blue Pumpkin ☆ Siem Reap, Cambodia

The Blue Pumpkin is an ice cream parlor, bakery and cafe all combined. My girl friends and I loved the lunch and dessert at The Blue Pumpkin so much that during our 4 day stay in Siem Reap, I think we went there 4 times. There is one located right across the street from the Old Market (Psar Chas). It’s easy to spot it. The ice cream, pastries and people eating in the outside seating area make you feel tempted to try the food at The Blue Pumpkin.

The Blue Pumpkin serves western food as well as Asian food. My girl friends and I had breakfast at The Blue Pumpkin as our flight arrived early in the morning in Siem Reap. It hit the spot. They also have tasty coffee, shakes and smoothies. We all loved a banana smoothie (in the photo above) which we went back to The Blue Pumpkin for a couple of times. Their sandwich I had was delicious, too.

One of many things we liked about The Blue Pumpkin is that they give you a stamp card and you get a stamp for every how many dollars (I forgot already, but a small amount, I remember) you spend. If you fill all the boxes with stamps, which was not too many, you get a free scoop of ice cream (or at least that was what we got. Please check with the restaurant).

If you go to Siem Reap, you should go to The Blue Pumpkin even just for checking out their ice cream. They have a wide variety of flavors with some combinations of ingredients that you don’t often see at other ice cream stores. There were something like ‘5 spices’ flavor and a flavor with cinnamon and something else which I enjoyed.
