After having lunch at a Spanish Bistro, Plan B, my friend, who hosted tea at her house, took me and our friend to TAN LIVING which is right by the restaurant in the same block. I have always wanted to go to TAN LIVING, a zakka shop that sells Indonesian that was perfect! If you like interior design, check out their beautiful website!
*Zakka (from the Japanese ‘zak-ka’(雑貨)or ‘many things’) refers to everything and anything that improves your home, life and appearance.
This pink elephant wall hanging is really neat. I’ve been drawn to elephant decors lately. This pink elephant would be such a signature item in your house. It would be neat to have it on a white or gray wall or even on a Tiffany blue wall, don’t you think?

The baby blue chest was really pretty.
I love diffusers. I bought a vanilla fragrance diffuser.
This is Ria with TAN LIVING. She emailed me for the first time over a year ago and after she found my blog through my KOI Restaurant & Gallery in Kemang post and we have corresponded through email, but it was our first time to meet on this day! It was really cool to finally put the name and face together!

The entrance door to the building on the first floor looks like the photo on the left. If you look up at the building, you’ll see a sign.

OMG, I looooove this shop! I have to visit it now! Or rather in a few weeks when I have saved up some money to buy at least 4 of the pieces I’ve seen on your photos so far…. Definitely on my to-visit-and-try-to-control-myself list!

I want that newspaper light pendant! I wish I could find that here 🙁
Did you happen to see how it was done? Newspaper against light bulb might = fire so I hope they got something in between 🙂

I didn’t check that part. Good point. I think they use that lamp shade as part of their decor and it was not for sale. I thought that it was really neat looking!
Kaho says
I heard from Ria about the lamp. It is a working lamp which they use. They put newspaper pieces on a Japanese lamp to make it. If there is anyone who has questions such as whether you can purchase it or not, please contact Ria at info@tan-living.com. Thanks!
