Snow Wonder makes instant snow in seconds by adding water. It is “magic” snow. When my husband, our kids and I went to German Christmas Fest today at Mahalaxmi Race Course, a Snow Wonder booth caught my attention. The lady at the booth asked my son to put his hand out, then she poured about a quarter teaspoon of white powder in his palm. Then she dropped about a teaspoon of water. To our surprise, this white powder that resembles dried salt grew into white fluffy flakes. It was a chemical reaction that was very magical to see especially in the spirit of winter holiday.
Since my kids would not experience snow this year living in Mumbai, I thought how fun it would be for them to play with fake snow. It is non-toxic and safe for them to play with the snow flake. Honestly I was as excited about it as my kids were.
After we returned home, we got a big plastic container, a bottle of water and Snow Wonder package and made the instant snow on our balcony. Snow flakes can be vacuumed and if you have a container, it’s mess free, but I figured it would be easier to clean if I do it outside.
Here’s what happened in images. Please scroll down to see a very short video I made as well to see the interesting reaction recorded in the motion picture.
I made this video below. I am not technology savvy, so this was as good as it gets. I don’t know why I got so excited about this Snow Wonder. Maybe I am missing the cold weather for the holiday season. My kids and I enjoyed the experiment and play. There are not many games that all three of my kids would gather to play, so it was very nice to have this Snow Wonder whcih brought them together.
Normally I would show a post about fashion on Mondays, but I decided to write about the Snow Wonder India to go with a holiday season. This post is written without any sponsorship or collaboration. It all came from me and I was not asked to write this article. Thus, I paid my own money 350 Rupees (about US$6) for a small package of Snow Wonder powder with a plastic spoon and instruction.
I curate my content. I have accepted free products and in return I have written a blog post, but so far I have not had any sponsored post (paid to write a post). I have done without receiving any benefits because either I love it so much that I want to write about it or I already know that other expats love something, thus I know that it will draw attention. This post was the former.
For some reason in India I receive more inquiries from companies that ask me to write about their products without their offering anything in return for the work. I am not sure if there are any bloggers out there who would take a request from a company to write using their photos to promote their products without anything in return that being free products or compensation.
Anyways, it is important that you find it fun to write about something on your blog and I hope you get my joy from visiting my space.
I hope you enjoyed my post on Snow Wonder!
