My sweet husband took our girls and me on his business trip to Bangkok. The first three days we were there I was on my own with the girls to explore the city of Bangkok while my husband was working. Therefore, some (not all) of the photos you see here are taken when I went out with my kids during the day. I’m afraid they are not in good quality as taking photos while I have my eyes on my girls in a foreign city is not so easy if you know what I mean. I hope you still enjoy seeing what I saw in Bangkok!
Bangkok is beautiful with historical and cultural sites packed in a big metropolitan city. I have so many more pictures from the trip. The photos I took at Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Crocodile Farm and Chatuchak Market will be posted in later posts. Tomorrow, Friday, I plan on posting about my restaurant finds in Bangkok as Friday Finds.

Thanks, Fiona! I thought that Thai people did a good job with pink! It was very interesting to see the different shades of pink color all over the city.

How did the girls find the Lychee Pocky? Love that shot of the pink cabs in between the yellow ones….the effect is very pretty and pink actually complements yellow well.

They absolutely loved them! They ate the rest of them while I was taking those silly photos of a pocky! We used the pink cab company a lot. I think Thai people like to use pink and Vietnamese seem to like yellow a lot.

Beautiful photos, Kaho! How’s the traffic in Bangkok compare to Jakarta?

Hey Kaho, so you were in Thailand too! Bangkok is beautiful isn’t it Although I haven’t really visited there in a long time. I find the new airport being a major change compared to the first time I was there…and the food…isn’t it divine? I absolutely love Thai food, everything about it even if this trip to Samui wasn’t as I expected food wise, but I guess islands are becoming more and more touristic. Glad you had a great time!
