When I live overseas, there are more occasions to wear semi casual outfits than I do when we live back home. As a stay-at-home mom, I like wearing semi casual outfits because it gives more variety to my wardrobe than denim pants and a shirt that I can wear all year round in Manila. Here is the sum of my semi casual outfits I have worn in the last 3 to 4 weeks.
The high waisted pants I am wearing in the first two photos are one of my current favorites. The fabric is a bit warm for the tropical weather, but when I stay indoors with an AC on most of the day, they are wonderful to keep my legs warm. For someone like myself with short legs and a long torso, the high waisted design makes the figure look more balanced. You also don’t have to worry about the pants sliding down when you sit down and the unwanted part of the skin to reveal on your back. You know what I am talking about!
Japanese Straight Perm
I have gotten a hair cut and had my hair straightened at Nora Hair Salon in Makati within the last 3 weeks, so some of the photos were taken before and a few were taken (the first two photos) after the hair cut. You probably can’t tell. I can because I had to use my hair straightening iron for the ones before. The ones where I look like a mop on my head, that’s before and the ones that look more tamed, that’s after. If you would like to know what Japanese straight perm is, you can check out the video link I found at the bottom of this post so that you can learn. It makes my morning routine much easier and I love it.
These two below are very similar, almost the same. The first outfit is with a pair of cotton black slacks. They are very comfortable and great for warm climate. The second outfit is with a fake leather wide leg pants that are a calf length. They are fun to wear, but the material is not quite suitable for the hot weather. It’s been cool enough to wear them in Manila which makes me very happy!
