My previous post was about an easy way to transform of my oldest daughter’s room into a bohemian chic room. In this post, I would like to show how we changed this kids’ room for my middle and youngest children.
My middle school daughter and elementary school son share a bedroom. It’s because I would like my younger two kids to share a room at this point. My son prefers being in a room with her sister. However, when we moved to Manila, my middle one at first asked if she could have her own room. Despite her wish, I made her share a room. Thus, when my middle daughter asked if she and I could change up her shared room, I really wanted to make sure I meet her wish. She came up with the reconfiguration of the room, with which she did a very good job. My oldest daughter gave me an inspiration for having small plants even though they are not real.
I have used some before and after photos to show the result of moving the furniture around to change up the kids’ bedroom. Hopefully they can give you some ideas for your own rooms. Our kids’ room tours for my oldest daughter’s room as well as the shared kids’ bedroom will be up next.
Evolution of Our Kids Room
Our home in Manila is a rental home that came with furniture. There is a limit to what you can do to a rental home. On top of that, if a home comes furnished, it can be more challenging. However, you could still add personality to a furnished home. I hope this will help those who live in a furnished home to feel inspired. Do you see the differences?

DECLUTTERING
Before redecorating the shared kids’ bedroom, my children and I worked on decluttering the room. Below are the links to my decluttering posts I published recently. These steps helped us ease into redesigning the room. The result of decluttering is well worth your time and effort!
