Guess where this is? This is in Indonesia. More specifically in Puncak, Indonesia which is about 2 hour drive southward from Jakarta. Puncak area is famous for Taman Safari. We stayed at a privately own house during a long weekend a couple of weeks ago. It was lovely.
We had to take our own food and it was a lot of preparation before the trip, but once we got there, all the hard work paid off. I loved it. I realized that this type of trip suits our stage of life right now because our 3rd child is still very young. We can drive there and we just stay in the lodge and play.
One afternoon it got very misty. It was fabulous. We were in Indonesia and we did not sweat outside. It was cool and amazing. I got excited like a child to see thick fog surrounding the hills, trees and everywhere!
My husband is pretty creative when it comes to playing with little ones. He talked like a character in Harry Potter with the fake British accent and teased the kids saying funny stuff to them and they absolutely loved playing with him! The laughs were priceless. Creativity is all you need to entertain yourself.
I have more photos of us during our little vacation/staycation in Puncak. I plan on sharing them with you little by little.

For these photos, I used the following.
LENS: 50 mm
F POINT NUMBER (aperture): 2.0
EXPOSURE TIME (shutter speed): 1/200
I can’t find the ISO figure. Sorry. I think it was probably somewhere between 400 and 800.
I hope this is helpful!

Thanks for sharing the camera settings and i will use it in this kind of weather. I Love hill stations for vacation cos i grow up completely near the seaside about 600 metres from the shore in South of india . Chennai city. After 2004 tsunami i have hydrophobia freaking scared of water and sea.
The place where i lived had this weather pattern hot, hotter, hottest. in summer the temp goes to 46 degree celsius. During Nov and dec it used be 27-30. so i love the cool weather. and Green lush trees and bright beautiful flowers. I cant live in cold countries i will freeze to death.

Sure! Anytime! If you find photos that you are interested in knowing the setting of the camera, do ask me again! I appreciate questions like that.
I have never lived in a city where it gets colder than Washington, D.C., but I enjoy the winter there. I can handle the winter there especially the autumn in D.C. is breathtaking. However, I admit that by March, I definitely get ready for the warmer climate. I actually love living in a hot climate. There are many perks for that. 🙂
