After we had tea at my Japanese friend’s we went to Plan B, a bistro managed by a Spanish owner which opened in May, 2012, about two weeks before we went there. It was brand new, but the words must have been around since the restaurant was packed when we went there for lunch.
To me good restaurants come in a combination of great food and stylish interior design. Plan B was definitely stylish and serves good food. The prices of their dishes were surprisingly cheap. It makes me realize how overpriced the foods are at many restaurants which cater to foreigners in Jakarta.
Since the lunch time was very busy at Plan B and it took a while for our food to be delivered, the owner who noticed that sent the potato appetizer to our table. This simple potato dish was absolutely delicious. I would love to know how to make this white sauce. I had club sandwich for lunch which was yummy and the latte hit the spot!
I have to go back to this restaurant with my husband to have Spanish tapas.

I love the decor. The potatoes look yummy! Where they patatas bravas? The hubby loooves tapas, maybe I should take him there some day. I’ve only been to Tapas Movida and it was pretty good.
Hummm. I should’ve asked because I would love to make it at home, too! You should take your hubby there on a Friday or Saturday. They have a happy hour with tapas and Sangria!
