Here comes my Monday Mode! I like Mondays. Why? It’s because the kids go back to school and I get to have a little time to myself. Don’t get me wrong, I love spending time with them, but I need a little breather, too. (That’s why I blog, too.) Weekends changed for me since I became a mom. So did how I feel about Mondays.
First Red Dress
My husband’s grand-ma gave our daughters a dress for each for their birthdays last year. My older one’s dress is an adorable red dress from GAP, which she loves. It looks adorable with ruffles and she loves that it twirls. She grew to like pants and shorts in the recent past (finally!), but she’s still a girly girl who loves dresses.
Second Red Dress
The other dress my second daughter is wearing is from one of our best friends, Meredith, who sent our girls very generous gifts for Christmas. (I haven’t sent her anything. I’m a terrible friend! I feel guilty.) I couldn’t believe how much she sent! This is just one of them. My younger one has entered this “I-only-want-to-wear-dresses” phase, so needless to say, she loves this dress.
I think kids look great in red. The color gives them a better complexion and compliments their cuteness!

You are right, the right does compliment their cuteness! how fun it must be that your younger daughter has entered the phase of wanting to wear dresses!
I took at peek at your husband’s grandma’s house, I love her kitchen! it has a southern charm, especially the kitchen I like how she has the pans hanging over the counter. and the backyard looks so comfty!
Commenting on a previous post, love, love the fabric on that chair. I have also never won anything, so it was pretty neat to read you won something, there is hope for me!

Ha! I wish I feel the same about Monday as you do 🙂
Your gals are fabulous as always – but my favorite item that they wore from the pics are the adorable Target boots!

Love both dresses, especially the Gap dress. Your daughters look adorable as always! By the way, is the background is your garden?

Thanks! No, we have a back yard, but we hardly use it. There is a sewer and it smells, so it’s a shame that we don’t make a use of our back yard. It’s outside of our house, but it’s a public space. 🙂
