INDIGO is one of our top 5 favorite restaurants in Mumbai. We have eaten at Indigo Deli in R City Mall, Indigo in High Street Phoenix in Lower Parel and Indigo in Pali Naka, Mumbai. Not only do all three Indigo restaurants we went serve delicious food and offer great customer service, but they also perform consistency, which is a key element for us to go back to the same restaurant. I love Indigo’s interior decor which is very modern and chic. If you ask my favorite Indigo restaurant to go to among those three Indigo Delis we went, then I have to say it’s Indigo Deli in Pali Naka, Mumbai. Why? All the staff members are friendly (you will see it later), the interior design is cool, and it’s in a cool neighborhood. I am a big fan.
As always I asked the restaurant floor staff if I could take some photos for my blog. They were very welcoming. My middle child excused herself to go to the bathroom. Then, one staff approached me and said “if you would like to take photos of your daughter in the kitchen, you’re welcome to do so.” I thought to myself “HE SAID WHAT?”

Thank you for the comment and compliment. I don’t see it as a mom, so it’s nice to hear! 🙂

such a neat cafe 🙂 what about prices?
Kaho says
I find the prices quite reasonable granted that eating out at places that cater to many expats in Mumbai are expensive. Compared to Goa and Chennai which are the only other Indian cities I know, eating out in Mumbai is sooooo expensive!
aobeamber says
And can you tell me the average bill?)
Kaho says
If I remember correctly, the sandwiches range between 300 Rs. and 400 Rs. (some might be 400+). With a drink order and tax all calculated, I think you would end up paying somewhere between 600 and 700 Rs. per person.

I’m a big fan of Indigo Deli. A new one opened in InOrbit mall in Malad East which is fairly close to me so I was delighted. I agree with you on their ability to produce consistently good food. We ate there on only the third day it was open and I was delighted that they managed to create my favourite sandwich exactly the same as in their other branches. Roast garlic mushrooms with brie and caramelised onions.

Hi, Anne! I love their Roast Garlic Mushrooms with Brie and Caramelized Onion, too!!! I’m glad you have one near you, too! So nice to see you here. Thank you for visiting!

Anne, I apologize that I kept calling you Amie… I am embarrassed!

Ann or Annie. I go by both, the “e” on the end of my name is pronounced by some and ignored by others. I like both so feel free to lengthen or shorten as you prefer.

Have you tried their Bombay chicken wings Kaho? Yum yum!
Kaho says
No, I haven’t! I will next time!!! Thanks for the recommendation!
