Here I am to quickly introduce you to our dining room decoration in our new home in Tokyo. I haven’t had the chance to work on my blog very much in the last 8 months. The international move really kicked my butt, but also the holiday season has kept me busy. I realized, though, that if I don’t post the photos of our dining room now, it may not happen. Ever. Thus, here they are! The dining room has changed a bit even after these photos had been taken in November, but you get the picture.
A dining room to me is an important place for my family to regroup, relax and refuel. Thus, I hope I was able to achieve it with what we own.
I didn’t paint the walls as you can see and kept the original cream color walls. I used our rattan chairs from the Philippines. You may recognize some design similarities between our dining room in Manila and our dining room in Tokyo. The peacock chair from the Philippines became our center piece of this room and signature decor.

Hopefully you got some inspirations. I recognize that the quality of my photos is not great. Many of them are a bit overexposed and also blurry. I apologize!
Have a wonderful holiday season!
