My Japanese friend, Mari, who was visiting Jakarta last month, gave my daughters pretty crochet headbands. I really love the look of them on my girls. I haven’t been able to identify the store in Jakarta as she has already gone home to Columbia. I will let you know where you can find them because I myself would love to be able to shop for them myself (would love to score one for myself). I don’t know if they sell one in adult size, but I’ll find out.
The dress my second daughter is wearing is from Old Navy. I purchased it for my older daughter when she was at the same age, 3. My second daughter has been wearing my first daughter’s clothes since birth, but all of a sudden when she started wearing my first daughter’s 3T clothes, I get nostalgic. I wonder why… Maybe because I remember my first daughter wearing them well.
私の日本人の友人、まりが先月ジャカルタを訪問していた際、娘2人に可愛いヘアーバンドをプレゼントしてくれました。娘達がこのヘアーバンドを付けるととても可愛いんですよ。（親ばか？）まりは既にジャカルタを離れて、コロンビアへ戻ってしまったため、ジャカルタ内のどこのお店で買ったのかがまだ判明できていないのですが、もし教えてもらったらこちらで報告しますね。というのは、私自身も一つ自分用に欲しいななんて思っているので。大人のサイズがあるかは今のところ分からないのですが、調べてみますね。
次女が来ているワンピースはオールドネイビーというアメリカのGAPと同じ系列の会社のよりお手頃ブランドのお店です。長女が今の次女とちょうど同じ3歳の時に買いました。次女は、生まれてからずっと長女のお下がりを着ているのだけど、3歳用の洋服を着るようになってから、急に服を見る度に懐かしく感じるようになりました。何故でしょうかね．．．？長女が服を着ていた頃を鮮明に覚えているからでしょうか。
