Coral pink and mint green party decoration was the decoration theme for my second daughter’s birthday party in 2015. This is a modified version of the blue party decoration I used for my oldest daughter’s birthday party 2 weeks prior to my second daughter’s party.
The dining room transformed from this blue party decoration…
to this party decoration.
I added pink because my second girl still likes pink and asked if she could have pink icing cookies. Since mint green and Tiffany blue look good with coral pink, I picked coral pink.

This bull head from The Label Life House And Home, a stylish home decor online shop from India, has been a wonderful new decor to have in my home. As soon as the bull head arrived, it has joined the party decor and played an integral part of the decoration to change the mood of the color themes for two parties. Adding the coral pink scarf to the bull head added a little accent of coral pink next to the mint green backdrop fabric.
I bought a bunch of soaps from Gia Bath and Body Works, my girls’ favorite soaps, at The Lil Flea pop-up market which took place at the end of October this year to use as a party favor. Since I had many of them, instead of putting them in their goodie bags from the beginning, I used them as party decoration. They looked adorable and made the table look darling! Then, I put them in each goodie bag towards the end of the party. I forgot to tell the girls that they were soaps, not cupcakes, so I heard later from some moms that their daughters asked if they could eat the “cupcakes” and they had to tell them that they were soaps! Don’t you think they are just amazingly delicious looking? Their scents are also lovely.
The cupcakes in the two photos below are also soaps from Gia Bath & Body Works.
Marshmallows make such pretty party snack!

Two birthday parties are out of my way now. Planning for two birthday parties in November has always been a daunting task with pressure (even though I also enjoy the process) especially because they happen at the beginning of the hectic holiday season and I used to get overwhelmed. This year, for the first time, though, I felt that it was not as stressful as in previous years. Having more experiences of hosting parties definitely gives you more confidence. From next year, I hope that I can downsize my girls’ birthday party and do something smaller and more intimate.
