Chumbak is a fashion and lifestyle store that was originated and is based in Bangalore, India. Its first store in Mumbai opened in Fort in October, 2015. The store is right next to Fabindia in Kala Ghoda district in Fort which is also a walking distance from Kala Ghoda Cafe, my new favorite cafe in Mumbai.
My friend, Anne, who moved to Mumbai in August 2015, introduced Chumbak to me, who has been in Mumbai for the last 2 and a half years. A month after I had heard about it, I passed by the store in my car and it totally caught my attention. If you pass by the store, you won’t miss the bright store front with adorable items displayed behind the glasses. My curiosity was tickled, but on that day I did not have the time to stop. A couple of months later, I finally had a chance to stop by the store when my friend came to visit Mumbai.
In terms of how the store is like, I think I cannot beat this review written on Brown Paper Bag, so I am going to refer you to their article.
