I hope everyone welcomed New Year’s Day in 2014 with happy thoughts, hope and excitement for the new page of life. I really like the quote “The best is yet to come”, so here you go.
I combined different designs I saw on Pinterest onto this board. Please excuse the scribbles below the New Year’s message. It is the sign of having little kids (it’s just impossible to keep everything clean and neat) and I try to look at it as joyous mark as long as they do not go above the invisible line which is just above the back of the white chair.
This one is a conversion from this
to this.
I don’t know what made the photo look different, but the lens I used were different, so it could be that.
I took the photo of the chalkboard with the Christmas design with my kit lens which is 18-55 mm.
I took the photo of the chalkboard with the New Year’s design with my new 35 mm lens.
May 2014 be filled with happiness and peace!

May your wish comes true this year!

Happy New Year, Kaho! I hope 2014 turns out to be a happy and prosperous year for you and your family 🙂
(Oops, I forgot the “san.” Is that all right? Never really know about keigo and when it’s okay to become more friendly with someone. It’s one of those things about the Japanese language that always confuses me…)

I love that you called me Kaho! I have called you Miwa before. I didn’t even think about it… Oops. I know what you mean. 🙂
I look forward to getting to know you better through your blog!
