I still don’t know the source of this design. I found this design on Pinterest and I pinned it onto my Graphics & Typography board. It might be from society6.com.
I relate so much to this quote. I can’t agree more. The companion can be your life partner, friends, colleagues, etc. Especially in expat living, this seems very true. If you surround yourself with positive people, your overseas experience becomes rich and delightful, but if you always hang out with negative people, you become one of them and start feeling spiteful of your life as well.
Valentine’s Day
Don’t you think this is so true? I always feel that someone’s small thoughtful deed can make you happy for a long time.
This quote was written by Roald Dahl. The design was copied from the combination of the designs created by Jen Roffe and Lizzie Mackay. Both are also pinned on my my Graphics & Typography board.
Process of Drawing on The Chalkbaord
It only took a day till my son would mess up the chalk design. I purposefully put the Valentine’s Day words in his reach as I was going to erase it after February 14.

Thank you, Ediot! I learned about it through a lot of bloggers in the Nordic region!

I know I’ve said this before, but I absolutely love your chalkboard wall! And the quote is great, too. Where would we be and what would we do without our companions? And I agree about surrounding yourself with positive people. I know from first-hand experience that that is very true.
