I love fashion, so I would love to make my fashion posts more frequent and regular. However, I admit that doing fashion posts is difficult to me and that’s why I have not posted a Monday Mode post in a while. Do you have a favorite fashion blog? These two shirts from Azure in Chennai were my first Indian brand clothes purchases and I am very happy to own them. They are comfortable as you might be able to tell. When I live overseas, I try to find clothing brands where I can shop from. I pick brands based on their designs, quality and reasonable prices. Azure is definitely one of them. Unfortunately Azure does not have a shop in Mumbai. I hope Azure will come out to open one in Mumbai in the future!

You might not notice, but I have a nose ring. I have had it for almost 9 years and I had it done in Cape Town, South Africa. At that time, I never imagined that I would be able to live in India where many people have a nose ring.
I love azure, which was recommended by my stylish friend who lives in Chennai. I wish there is an azure store in Mumbai. It just happened that azure was having 20% off sale when I was in Chennai, so I enjoyed some shopping. Azure’s fabric, design and colors are adorable. Azure seems to be located on one of the main shopping streets in Chennai. I saw some other nice shops a couple of shops down from azure. This street is definitely a must check for shopping in Chennai.

Anyway, since you asked, one of my favorite fashion blogs has got to be fash-n-chips.com. Have you heard of it? Although she writes about high-fashion a lot, I love the outfits that she posts of herself. I’m a comfort-first kind of person so I like sneakers and flats, and she nails the laid-back but fashionable look (like this post: http://fash-n-chips.com/blog/2013/10/16/a-grey-area) OK, stop me. This comment is getting too long! I’m not sure what kind of fashion you’re into but, hopefully you’ll enjoy her blog if you haven’t already heard of it.

I know exactly what you mean by her nailing the laid-back fashion. I like Christine’s style, too! I love converse shoes and I wore out a pair when I was in Jakarta. I am so happy you noticed them because I put them to style with the shirt on purpose! Thanks! They are actually in silver, but with the humidity in Jakarta, they kind of turned into bronze like color!
