If you live in a warm country where the temperatures throughout the year stay between 70’s and 90’s, there are not many ways to give variety to styling because you can’t layer your outfits. A layering technique is a great way to make outfits look different using same tops or bottoms.
I do have a few jackets, sweatshirts, and cardigans, but I don’t wear them on a daily basis. I try to change up looks of the items that I wear often by accessorizing with jewelry such as earrings, necklaces, bracelets, belts and sometimes hats.
Mixing and matching the tops and bottoms can create more variety as well. Since I have many white tops, even if the tops are different, the outfits tend to look a bit monotonous in my case. Adding some accessories to outfits can give different impressions with same shirts.
If the weather allows, I would love to add scarves as an accessory, but I can’t imagine putting anything around my neck yet in November in Manila, Philippines. Thus, having cute earrings, necklaces and bracelets is helpful for styling. I don’t own many kinds of jewelry and they are all quite casual, but I find it important that I own what I love.
How do you style your everyday outfit to diversify your looks?
This is what I wore on the day of the Halloween event. I showed my Halloween spirit with this orange shirt which I basically wear on the day of Dutch King’s Day celebration and Halloween. On the same day, I wore white shorts with grey T-shirt shown in the photo above. Then I changed into an orange T-shirt later in the afternoon for the Halloween event.
