Coffee Project Manila & BGC

Coffee Project in BGC is one of Coffee Project cafes you can find all around Manila. When I first stepped into Coffee Project in BGC, it looked as though it was a smallish cafe. However, to my surprise, the space extended further back with many seating areas and a high ceiling.

I find that cafes are a great place to meet with friends. If I can spend time at a stylish and chill cafe with a lovely interior decor, it is even better. At Coffee Project I saw some people with a laptop working there. The cafe offers seats where you can plug your laptop or cell phone and work.

Manila has some amazing looking coffee shops just like Coffee Project and I have been constantly impressed and entertained by them since we had arrived in Manila. In fact, my husband and I stumbled upon another coffee shop in Rockwell. I plan on posting about it soon.

BGC is a shortened name for Bonifacio Global City. It is a newly developed planned city in Metro Manila where it keeps developing. BGC is a home to modern office buildings, nice shopping strips and malls, great restaurants, high-rise apartments and many schools. BGC reminds me a lot of Singapore when I lived there in 1990’s. I find it clean and pretty and best of all, it is a very walkable area.

I have been in Manila a little longer than a month. Things are falling into places slowly but surely. When I moved to Jakarta and Mumbai, I was on a full force trying to get out and meet people. As I get older and experience more of the expat world which seems to be quite the same wherever we go, I’ve gotten comfortable with pacing myself.
