If you have been around Chuzai Living, you might recall that I wrote about cayenne in Kemang, Jakarta here before. It is one of my favorite stores to go shopping in Jakarta. I spotted this store as I was driving by. I’m constantly looking out for places to shop. Not that I need to buy any more stuff or spend more money, but I love to discover new stores.
Last time I was at cayenne, I didn’t pay much attention to those tin cans, but the store rearranged their products and this time my eyes were drawn to them. They are absolutely gorgeous to be displayed like this, aren’t they? I wanted to get some for our house and I would love to have two and put two of them on top of each other, but I couldn’t pick one pair. I can’t decide if I want the simple design or more intricate design.
There are some more new products. They have beautiful baskets in many different colors, but this time I saw some chic colors I would love to have!
Cayenne also has stylish modern furniture.
This is what I got. For my friend. I will have to go back to cayenne for more of these. I have to go back soon before the cans will be sold out!

Love all the different storage options! I loathe storing things in plastic and it is lovely to see all these gorgeous alternatives!

They are just sooooooo cute!!! I mean everything!!! I love the low table with colorful tiles, too. I am so jealous that you are surrounded by these interesting stores. If I am there, I would go crazy shopping. I saw the price tag on one of the tin cans in your photos….it’s about $7? For Indonesia, it’s not so cheap, huh? I am sure the crafts men making these tin cans are paid so little to make these products.

Life in Jakarta is not cheap! It surprised me and still does. If you go to places where many expats go, the prices are just like in the U.S. I hear it’s just Jakarta, so I cannot wait to travel outside of Jakarta!!
